By enabling students and users to establish achievable self-monitoring goals and track behavior conducive to success, I-Connect promotes increased independence and improved academic outcomes.

- In addition to schools and classrooms, I-Connect offers settings for work, home, and community monitoring. Users can customize sub-categories within each location to facilitate self-monitoring in diverse environments.
I-Connect is Customizable!
- I-Connect provides three default self-monitoring prompts: on-task engagement, behavioral appropriateness, and comprehension. Each prompt can be tailored to suit individual student or user preferences. The frequency of monitoring is entirely adaptable to meet each user's unique needs, offering the flexibility of fixed or variable scheduling based on time intervals. The variable schedule feature is recommended by the I-Connect development team to prevent predictability in prompting times. Whether requiring questions every 2 minutes or every 20 minutes, the customizable nature of I-Connect ensures an individualized monitoring experience.
Data Collection in Real Time.
- Unlike traditional paper-based methods or timer apps, I-Connect records data contemporaneously as users monitor their behavior. The collected data is stored for convenient access, allowing students, mentors, and parents to monitor progress and review historical data at any time.
